Hicham Lahlou, one of the first and best Moroccan national designers and the flagship of African design, Emblematic figure of emerging new generation design of which he has been a part for more than two decades, he is a personality recognized worldwide, on the African continent, and in the Arab world, he signs major projects and collections published by prestigious international brands, such as DAUM, Ecart International, Lip, Aquamass, CITCO Italy, HAVILAND… The Africa Design Award & Days project (ADA, ADD) which he founded in 2014 which he directs as one of the leaders of African Design.

His creations, regularly exhibited in museums such as the Vitra Design Museum, the Guggenheim Bilbao, the Kunsthal Rotterdam, High Museum Atlanta Usa, or the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, rank halfway between design and contemporary art and make the designer an artist recognized both for his unique pencil line and his work on the lines but also for his innovative artistic biases.g
