When he was just a child, the passion for drawing grew inside Jonathan Vatunga. His close entourage had detected his talent and he followed this path : he is now a twenty year-old young artist, graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa.
With his high sensitivity, the artist is trying to use his talent as a tool to denounce the inequalities of our society.
Committed and strongly moved by the world around him, his work highlights the contradictions in a society shared between destress and joy. Jonathan knows how to create from the vulnerability of his characters, capturing artworks.
